Hugging the Curves: October 2, 2004

It's a very rare thing for me to get a day just to go play... so when things fell into place for me to have the day for myself, I talked my friend Brian into taking me for some adventures on his Honda Goldwing (which I will forever refer to as his SUV.)

We met up with Geoff, Rebecca and Josh and headed out on some wonderfully twisty back roads in the Duvall, WA area.

I got to just relax on the back of the bike and enjoy some gorgeous autumn scenery... most of which passed by very quickly.

After we split from the rest of our friends, Brian and I sped up to Mukilteo, just in time to sit on the beach for sunset.

Brian cheated and took a quick nap before dinner :)

Our last stop before heading home, in much cooler weather, was the Diamond Knot Brewery in Mukilteo. The food was yummy (I went for steak and veggies, which we pretty much got to cook for ourselves on the table, on huge slabs of sizzling hot volcanic rock, an interesting experience in its own right!) but the selling point for Brian was the urinal in the men's room. Yes, that is an Anheuser Busch keg.
